"It can be something of a juggling act," Regulus said wryly. "But we adults help each other out, and bedtime for toddlers comes early." Smiling, he draped his arm companionable across Harry's shoulders. "I had not really thought about it in those terms, but you are right: I have been alone forever. This is my first serious, long-term relationship, which is an odd thing at my age." He paused, his expression growing a little somber. "You don't think it is..." He groped for the right word. "Inappropriate? Disrespectful? Unorthodox for me to be with Gaius, do you?"
The question had been niggling at him, and he knew Harry could offer the kind of perspective on the situation that he needed.
