"Thank you," Gaius said, smiling a slow, special smile just for Regulus as he accepted the drink. He took a sip and then placed it on the table out of Gaia's reach, tilting his head as he gave Regulus a playful glance. "So do you, when I see you with Etienne. The little devils have a way of worming their way into your heart, don't they? Especially this bunch - but I will admit to a wee bit of bias."
Remus and Tybalt returned, each of them with a large tray of food. "We got... well, a bit of everything," Remus said, placing his tray down and beginning to pass around plates. When he'd emptied it he whisked it out of the way so that Tybalt could do the same thing.
"It all looked good, so we got it all," Tybalt added, dealing out his plates onto the groaning table. "Now where is my spouse? He'd better get back here to eat - he's going to need his strength for later."
