At first, the light thumping noises coming from upstairs didn't register as Harry continued to stare into space, wondering where Ron could be and what was possessing him that wouldn't be revealed by the spells he used. Then the sounds became louder, the movements hard enough to shake down a few motes of plaster, and Harry was off the sofa like a shot, rushing up to Leila's room.
What he found was total chaos. Toys and games scattered all around and Leila sobbing as if her heart was broken. Harry knew how she felt.
"Hey," he said softly, trying to get Leila's attention without upsetting her further. He knelt on the floor so he could be at her level. "What's wrong, Leilalove?"
