Luna's forehead wrinkled in confusion at Neville's comment about Gawain's blanket. Of course the pink blanket was Gawain's, that was the one she'd started wrapping him in from the start. It really was nice of Mr. Lupin to send both colors, so she could tell the blankets apart easily.
However, Neville was full of such quirks so Luna ignored it in the end. "See, I told you he'd like you," she said to Edward instead, then directed the rest of her words to Faelan. "He was nervous about meeting you, so I'm sure he won't mind getting Nimue's share of the attention. She won't mind either, give her a minute and she'll be interested in something else. Though, hmm." Nimue had stopped whimpering and flailing at Faelan, but she continued staring at him with a tragic expression. Luna was even more amused by Nimue's antics. Someone's been picking up on her brother's tricks.
She tapped her wand on the circlet in her hair, which Neville had charmed for her earlier. The images of eighteen flickering birthday candles popped up, and Nimue's eyes diverted to the top of Luna's head. "There, that got your attention," Luna said, rubbing the tip of Nimue's nose with her own.
