"I can understand your confusion," Neville told Faelan sympathetically, knowing that Luna wouldn't have thought Gawain's pink blanket a cause of misunderstanding. "Gawain's decided that the pink blanket is his and nothing I say or do can persuade him to give it up. I'm glad you like Edward, and you are safe from the twins for the moment. We won't force you to hold them." Neville laughed a little, "Although I suppose it won't be too long before they're toddling about the nursery and I will expect you to drag them out of danger."
"Daa-daa," Gawain agreed happily. He wasn't reaching out to Faelan like his sister, apparently quite happy in his Daddy's arms since he had got his way, but he was looking Faelan up and down and grinning in his gummy way.
"This is Faelan," Neville told him, and Gawain replied with a spittle laden, "Ffffaaaa".
