Serenus had noticed the fliers for the new bookshop when he'd taken the twins for a stroll earlier in the week, and he'd been intrigued. Books were an automatic lure for him, and it hadn't been difficult for him to coax Tybalt into making an excursion to visit the new shop when it opened since it was within walking distance of their home. All it had taken was a beguiling look and the promise of sex (which they both knew would be fulfilled whether they made it all the way to the shop or not).
On the way, Tybalt ran into an old friend from school and stopped with the stroller to chat, and Serenus went on ahead, stepping inside the shop and peering around with eager curiosity to see what kind of books were in stock.
