"That's brilliant," Neville said enthusiastically. "Of course, the advantage to being an aunt is that you can give them back. Not that I would ever want to give you back, sprog," he added to Gawain, kissing the blond head again.
"So Parvati's married? Luna and I haven't exactly got that far yet. Not that I don't want to, of course, but it's been a bit of a tough year. I was... ill, for a bit, and Luna was... Well, it's been tough, and I guess I don't want to push at what we have just yet, not while we're happy."
He laughed a little in embarrassment. "Not that you need to hear all this rubbish," he said: he hadn't seen Padma in years and their main connection had been the DA. However, she had noticed Luna's new, more sober style and Neville didn't want to lose the opportunity to ask somebody about it, somebody impartial.
"You, er, you said that Luna isn't as colourful nowadays. I'm actually a bit worried about it. She was just as bright as she'd ever been until the twins came along, and then all of a sudden she packed her old things away. She says that the twins would only grab at her earrings and stuff, but... What do you think? Am I being paranoid? Do mothers normally change what they wear when the baby comes along? Has Parvati changed at all?"
