"Neville's not just running a nursery. He's proving his ideas about plants being more potent when they're grown without magical interference. He's using relationships between various plants and magical creatures to increase the yield without using spells." Luna bounced on her toes. "He has pink fairies about the nursery, and some of them like to stay at his greenhouse at our house, too. It's too bad I didn't find any Cacao-lobbing Wufflepods before I got pregnant. I think those would have been helpful with the Pitcher Plant, but too late now, I suppose."
Her eyes traveled around the room, as she was more interested in the rows and rows of books than conversation, now that she'd established how brilliant Neville was. It was nice seeing Padma, the only former Ravenclaw prefect whom Luna could state with certainty hadn't allowed pranks and thievery to go unheeded when she saw them happening, again, but if she was understanding Padma's proprietary air toward the shop correctly, Luna could see her more often just by coming here. For now, this was the first time she'd been out of the house in months, and there were books. She'd just have to find a way to convince Neville that they should bring the twins here more often.
"What's that, Nimue? You think we should find more sappy romance novels for Daddy?" Luna looked down at her daughter as if she'd spoken. "I think that's a wonderful idea. Maybe we'll find some featuring daring female zoologists to balance out all the Herbologists, this time."
With that, Luna wandered off in the general direction of the romance section. If she happened to stop in a few other places along the way, well, that was what browsing was all about.
