The birds and the bees, are flying in the trees
Characters: Neville, Remus and a trio of tots Summary: Neville asks Remus for some advice on being a freak of magic
The weather had turned out nice, which was a relief as with his continuing fatigue Neville would have been hard pushed to entertain Nimue and Gawain indoors. Outside in the sun, with a barrier around the ten metre square stretch of lawn and flower beds, Neville was at liberty to relax under a tree with his paperwork, only occasionally having to bestir himself to reapply sunscreen and investigate any shouts that didn't sound purely like the twins having fun. Both Nimue and Gawain had grass stains up to the ears, and were slightly soggy from teasing the flowers which had spurted water at them, but they were happy, and as long as they were Neville wasn't moving.
He was in fact on the verge of falling asleep when he heard a call from the direction of his office, and the nearby floo connection through the barbecue. Realising that it must be Remus with Gaia, he called out, "Over here!", and smiled when the twins stopped tickling a Dandy Lion and gambolled across the grass to see who was coming.
