Unfortunately, Luna's speculation only made the mental images assailing Neville worse. He was thoroughly relieved when she fell quiet.
"I'm going to owl him," he said, clinging to the idea that Remus would be able to make everything clear. "Abramowitz suggested that the pregnancy might have been brought about by my being around some sort of magical artifact. Talking to Remus about what happened to him might help me figure out what's happened to me."
He sighed and relaxed back against the sofa's cushions. "But at the end of the day, none of it will change anything. In the end it's going to be me and you going through it. Do you think we should let people know? Other than Remus and Zach, that is. Isn't the first three months supposed to be tricky? What if something goes wrong?"
His voice rose slightly with his last words and he looked to Luna for reassurance.
