"Not unless you count Starless making a glutton of himself as something that shouldn't be interrupted." Harry led Regulus back toward the kitchen so he could make them some tea. They could move to the more comfortable parlour later. The day's heat was intensifying in the late afternoon, and the cooling charms worked best in the room meant for entertaining.
Starless looked up and gave a low huff in greeting, his food dish already licked clean. He then moved to receive a scratch behind the ears from the new man, his smell familiar and comforting in more ways than one. A feline scent Starless knew very well clung to the man's robes, and the dog buried his nose in them, nearly tripping them both in his happy sniffing.
"Whoops! Sorry about that; he must have missed you." Harry put his hand in Starless' collar and hauled him back until Regulus could move fully into the room. "Have a seat. You you want me to put him outside? I was going to make us some tea."
