Harry clapped Faelan on the shoulder and stood. Some of Sirius choices might have seemed odd to others, but Harry knew what the man really treasured, and it wasn't galleons, which was why he made sure to leave Faelan personal items as well.
"Thank you all for coming. Remus, I brought the leathers with me if you'd like to have them now. Same with the knife, Reg, but I wish you and Hermione would hold back a minute. We should talk. Gaius-"
He moved over to the man and knelt in front of him. Gaius looked like he was holding on by a thread, and Harry imagined he knew exactly how Gaius must feel, remembering the first time Sirius had gone through the veil. Taking up Gaius' hands, Harry thought they felt too cool for the relatively comfortable room, and he chafed them with his thumbs as he spoke. "I know it's been hard. I'll do anything you want to make it easier on you, but if you just want to wait-" Harry looked over his shoulder at Faelan, who still seemed shocked by his own inheritance. "It will wait. All right?"
