Severia raised one eyebrow, surprised by the barrage of questions, but she supposed the situation was a natural source of curiosity for someone who had made transformation her life's study.
"The spell I used was a blend of Transfiguration and Alchemy," she replied. "As such, there was an element of ritual involved, which is why Serenus..." She paused, unable to recall if Minerva had ever met her twin, and so she added a brief explanation. "Who is my other brother, the one who is an Alchemist. He thinks the transformation is keyed to my magic, which was too depleted to complete the transformation back to my normal form. I was unable to control the shaping of my female body. The spell made me female, meaning this is what I would have looked like had I been born a woman. I had no influence on height, weight, breast size - nothing."
She paused, drawing in a deep breath before tackling the second part of Minerva's questions. "I must admit, the experience hasn't been entirely bad. I like being a man. I do not want to remain a woman for the rest of my life, but still, I think perhaps if it were not upsetting Remus so much, I wouldn't be in a hurry to change back." Her expression turned wry. "Then again, I haven't yet experienced a menstrual cycle. That might change my mind if I am in this form long enough for it to happen."
