"Right." Sirius sighed. "Perhaps drunken debauchery afterwards, when we really need it," he suggested. "But I had a Hangover potion fail, so sober debauchery might be safer for a school night." With a smile over his shoulder, he stepped in the floo.
With such a short distance to travel, there was little that could go wrong, and the earlier arrivals had taken care of most of the soot. Sirius stepped from the grate with only a quick shake of his head.
The first thing he saw was Severus, in drag again ... or perhaps, he amended, more than that. Sirius was about to sneer about the man turning himself into Serena, when he realized the essential problem with that. Remus was not John, and he wouldn't want a woman as his lover. His eyes narrowed in thought, but as he turned to McGonagall, his expression cleared again.
"Professor," he greeted her, nodding politely, and then he moved over to stand near Ron. Faelan's girlfriend got a smile.
