Debi sighed at the beautiful harmonies. She'd heard Sirius sing before, but this was different, this acoustic version of a song she'd loved for years. She dabbed at her eyes with the tip of her napkin and hummed along very softly. "Love is coming - love is coming to us all," she whispered, and wished Zach were there and not working. "All three of us."
The rest of the music charms came back up for the last song, but as much as she loved a good party, she wasn't in a party mood any more. It was time to go home and get some rest, and think about the future.
She waved to her friends, stood up with only a little bit of a struggle, and left an extra-big tip for Tom and the waitress. Then she pulled on her cloak, checked to make sure that her pepper spray was firmly in her hand, and headed back into the night.
