The downside to being a protector Characters: Sirius, Severus, Remus Summary: Sirius comes to Severus for lessons
Sirius stood outside Snape Manor, his gut already twisting at the thought of subjecting himself to Snape's instruction in anything. Faelan, however, was still a wolf, and something needed to be done. Still, he was tempted to tell Serenus to take him to Italy, instead; it might be worth the expense and exhaustion to get instruction from a stranger, rather than Severus Snape.
It would also cost time, though, and he wanted to help Faelan as quickly as possible. And Remus was here, and Remus would keep things from getting too bad in the lesson. And thinking back, he had always been brilliant in school with little effort, which he suspected had irked Severus, who believed in dedicated study. Sirius snorted. There -- he had finally stumbled across something Severus and Remus had in common!
A wry smile on his face, he went to the great doors and rang the bell.
