A flood of relief filled him now he'd seen her, heard her voice, and knew she was going to be all right. Slowly, he regained use of his senses.
"Harry owled me, told me what happened. Just the bare basics, I think. I didn't get farther than 'Hermione's been hurt' before I tore out of there like my broomstick was alight." He smiled a little at that. "Did at least managed to tell the coach what was going on before I left, so he doesn't think me completely mental."
He eased himself onto the side of her cot, his hands still holding hers tightly. "Then take it easy you will," he smiled ruefully, "if I have to put Mum on the case to see that you do."
