Faelan followed Harry over the rough terrain that made up the hills that rolled upward toward the end of the High Street. He tried not to think of anything other than getting them all out of the fight safely, so he put one foot in front of the other, concentrating on each step so that he wouldn't trip and send Hermione tumbling back to the ground. He could feel the heat from Harry's wand, and as Inferi went up in flames or stumbled away from them, he couldn't help but wonder about Padma, hoping that she felt as well-protected as he did right now.
"Were you with them?" Faelan asked Harry, surprised that the men would have split up from each other in the face of such danger. But, he supposed Harry and everyone hadn't lived through a war by clinging to each other like a bunch of...
"Children. There's a group of children over there, and...is that Gaius with them?" Without waiting for a response from Harry, Faelan ducked behind a line of trees and ran toward the other man, spotting a flash of light that turned out to be Sirius weilding some kind of makeshift torch. It was driving the Inferi away!
