At Sirius' cry Gaius barely repressed a snarl, adrenaline rushing through him at the thought of these horrific things menacing Hogsmeade. He drew his wand, although a quiver of doubt assailed him - he wasn't the fighter Sirius and Harry were, and his magic had been particularly bad of late.
