Gaius smiled a greeting to Harry, then another to Hermione as she joined them, before his gaze wandered among the crowd. He frowned as he caught an odd movement off to one side, someone moving in a fashion that seemed somehow very wrong. The hair on the back of his neck stood up, and he knew if he were in feline form his fur would be bristling.
Then Sirius' voice distracted him, and he turned to look toward where his lover's attention was focussed, shaking off the odd feeling as he, too, stared at the pile of fabric which had been a tent. "I don't know, but it's worse here even than at Hogwarts. Madame Pomfrey hasn't been able to keep up with all the magical maladies that are plaguing the school - Minerva has had to hire a full time Healer to help her out. Whatever it is, it's getting worse! I'd put it down to some sort of fluctuation due to the Equinox, except for the fact that its a time of positive energy, not negative! Trelawney's been ranting lately about some sort of apocalypse, and we've all been laughing her off, as usual." He frowned. "Now I'm beginning to wonder if she's really crazy or if she's on to something."
