Hermione could see the outline of a young woman with long red hair at Harry's elbow. Mrs. Potter looked more substantial than she had last night, enough that Hermione wondered why no one else had noticed.
She nodded at Harry and indicated the seat - seats opposite her. "Good morning, Mrs. Potter, Harry. Tea?"
It was instinctive, offering refreshments, and for one wild instant she expected Mrs. Potter to pour herself a fresh cup. She didn't seem to have reached that point, though, and Hermione was relieved when only Harry reached for the teapot and the scones.
"I've been reading the paper - did you see the headlines?"
