Sirius laughed. He was used to these excursions with Harry, as he had been with people he wanted to seduce. His brother was a bit more of a cypher.
"I did," he said. "Nice to know that I got something right. It's just some Malbec, though; probably not up to your standards." He said the last lightly, as he pulled out a picnic blanket (charmed to stay warm and resist damp) and laid it out on a bank next to a fragrant wintersweet shrub. In a few minutes, they both had a glass of dark wine, and had in front of them a plate containing a quartered pork pie, a block of cheese, and a round loaf of bread, with the rest of the bottle standing beside it.
"There," said Sirius as he set down a knife by the cheese. "Feel flattered. I usually only do this for potential lovers. Though in that case, I usually get more sensuous with the food." He hadn't considered bringing strawberries or chocolate, in this case, although he expected Regulus liked both.
