Sirius moved lower over the smaller houses heading for the darkness of an area without streetlights. He cut over a tall brick wall and soon moved in for a landing in a fragrant clearing.
"Not much to see at this hour," he said, though he knew their eyes would soon adjust enough to tell bright flower from dark bark. He swung off the bike. "Smells beautiful, though -- spring condensed. And no one is here this late, so we can sit and talk."
