"Yes," he replied, sighing with the relief that flowed through him as he realized that they would, and that he didn't have to be afraid of telling her things anymore. Everything suddenly felt a million times different. He kissed her again, shifting from their gentle pecking to a more drawn out expression of his appreciation. He felt so much lighter than he had only minutes ago that he thought he might float away if her weight wasn't holding him down.
Tilting his head to change the angle of the kiss, he lifted one hand to her cheek, thumb brushing against soft skin as his fingers settled in her hair.
Between kisses, he muttered against her lips. "Thank you."
