Debi couldn't help laughing. She'd worked hard on her accent, and two years in Britain had softened it quite a bit, but she had a bit of a twang when she was excited or tired. "Actually, I am American, but I've lived in Britain for the last two years." She took a sip of her cooling tea. "I've been working on shedding the accent for a while, though. My husband and my boss are both English, so the sooner the better as far as I'm concerned."
