Carefully, Padma helped Gawain tug the paper off the brightly-coloured building blocks.
"Look, they stick together," Padma said, putting together a red and blue block to demonstrate the light sticking charm.
Gawain wore a very serious look of concentration as he selected a green block and a yellow block and pushed them together until they met with a slight 'click'. A red block was placed on top of the two, and Padma sat back on her heels, watching as Gawain continued to play.
A shriek caught Padma's attention, and she turned to see Nimue turning the stuffed toy into a parrot.
"I'm glad she likes it," Padma said, laughing as Nimue kept turning her present over and over again, obviously wanting to see all of the toy's incarnations.
