Harry closed his eyes and concentrated, casting the most powerful cleansing spell he knew on the room. The muck all went away, but the room still smelled like something was lingering. When Hermione mentioned elves, an idea he'd been mulling for a while jogged itself loose from his brain.

"Hey, I wonder- Do you think we could hire Dobby away from Hogwarts? Maybe to help us all out? We're maintaining three residences, and while Haven's Loft gets clean enough between Faelan and Gaius, you and Ron are hardly ever home-"

Dobby came with his own set of quirks and annoyances, but Harry's cleaning charms had always been suspect and with Leila- Only the best for her, he thought.
