"Why do you do that? People would like magic, wouldn't they? I like yours." Klaus reasoned. Watching Bill work was one of the coolest things he'd ever seen and he'd seen plenty already between all of his siblings. "Would they accept me too?" He wondered, "Even if... if we weren't heroes?" Klaus didn't really want to be a hero, he didn't want to have anything to do with powers or things like that, he just wanted to be normal, no matter what his dad said. But maybe here they could just be normal? Maybe that meant Ben didn't have to do.... his thing anymore, he could just be Ben.
Klaus nodded as Bill agreed that he could make extras, before he flipped the pancake without even looking, making Klaus' eyes go huge with admiration for such skills. He liked Bill he decided, because he didn't talk to him like he was stupid, and he was making them breakfast and his magic was the coolest.
"You wanna stay with us?" He asked, surprised when Bill asked if Ben and Klaus might keep him company. "Are you... you're not gonna try and do lessons, are you?" Because he wanted Bill around to cook some more, especially if it meant more pancakes and things like that, but not if it meant Bill was just going to be doing the same things their dad did.
