"No way," He said delightedly when Bill told him that maybe they could even have chocolate chip pancakes. That was the sort of thing you only ever saw in movies on tv, maybe for your birthday if mom could make it happen but it wasn't his birthday and he didn't think it was a holiday. He decided Bill was amazing and he was gonna see if he could get Bill to make them breakfast every day.
With Bill's guidance Klaus did an adequate job of washing his hands but he was paying far more attention to the way the ingredients moved on their own than he was to actually cleaning up. "A wizard man," Klaus didn't really know what to think of that, if there were wizards then why did anyone need them to do anything? They were just kids. And what good was talking to ghosts gonna do anyone?
"Ben's cleaning up, we never get to take our time in the shower, he might be in there forever." Klaus said like it was a secret, but later he was gonna take a bath and he was gonna be in there forever, it was gonna be great. "Ben likes pancakes too, he needs lots of chocolate chips in his, and three for him too." He said it like it was a very serious thing he was telling Bill, maybe it'd make Bill more likely to make sure there were actually going to be chocolate chips. And maybe Ben wouldn't finish all of his and Klaus could help out.
