"I'm gonna tell you a secret," She grinned as he teased her about potentially taking her up on her offer of a willing ear, "I'm kind of in needs of some new friends, so if it turns out you want to hang out sometime, even if it's just to tell me all about your friend I'd be happy to do it." It wasn't even that she didn't have friends here, because she obviously did, she was staying with them, but she needed something normal. And what was happening with Steve and Tony wasn't normal. It wasn't bad, they'd been circling one another for years now, but it wasn't what she'd known and she needed a little time with that before it slotted itself into the normal category again.
For now though they were dealing with something decidedly not normal, the house and its doors and Natasha was fascinated by it, this kind of magic, because it had to be magic, right? was amazing. Truthfully the pinky field was pretty but not very interesting. Not in the same way that the city was interesting. A room could be a field perhaps, but a room that was a city? Full of people? That was a little more difficult for her to wrap her mind around.
"Would you rather it was a closet?" She wondered of the rooms, that seemed like it would be boring and she'd have to have a word with Steve and Tony both about them not telling her the doors just lead to closets.
"Which one should we try?" She wondered, she had her own preference, but she thought she'd find either interesting and considering the fear she'd seen in Eddie's eyes earlier she thought it'd be the nicer thing to let him decide what he wanted to do with it.
