Having PTSD and openly admitting to it? Who was this guy? Perfect?
Well, beyond the swearing thing. That was still silly to Richie, but he was mostly trying to behave his mouth at the moment instead of blowing his verbal load all over this guy. Because that would have been pretty shitty of him while Cap here was being so damned hospitable. "Huh," he said instead, and it was pretty easy not to say something stupid when he was this close to just losing his shit, anyway.
This scene was too odd. Steve stirring what smelled like curry on the stove in a brightly lit kitchen with nice appliances, and Richie sitting here staring at him through cracked glasses after getting his ass handed to him with magic.
"Oh," he said, and all he could think of was Eddie, how they'd lost each other for years and years and how they'd finally found each other again, he'd finally remembered something that he felt like he'd been missing for so long and now --
Gone again. For real this time.
"Good. Good for you," he went on, but frankly there was a reason he was a comedian and not an actor, because he didn't sound all that happy for Steve at all.
