The guy- Richie- he came without much of a protest as people tended to do when the other choice was sit out in the dark alone and hope for the best. Steve was used to being called Cap so didn't think much of it, although he did wonder if this Richie guy knew him, or was from the same world as he was. But judging by what he'd read earlier maybe more information wasn't the best idea at that point.
"Just the ones who look like they need a little help, I'm the welcoming committee" Steve said with a shrug. It was Tony who tended to adopt strays, although this one was a little older than their spider children.
He grabbed the door and stood back to allow him in before following after. Steve had chosen this house back when they'd all been empty, because of its position in among the others and the space, but Tony had been upgrading it steadily since. "Bathroom is through there, I'll get you some clean clothes," Steve said as he headed for his room. But he didn't get Richie his clothes, instead went with some that Tony clearly didn't like enough to really wear and that had made its way into the back of the draws, those two were closer in size.
"These should fit," he said as he emerged, holding them out to him. "Clean towels are under the sink."
