"You won't regret it, I promise," Lunafreya answered, her smile widening. "Think of it this way...how much trouble can I get into in some hot springs, right? The chances are low. Maybe even you get to relax." His deftly sliding the brochure out of her hands only made her look at him with an amused look, before she fell into step beside him. "Lead the way."
The bathhouse was relatively easy to locate, as it drew a steady if small trickle of tourists and locals. They would be separated shortly but she didn't worry; Nyx wouldn't be far, and this place appeared as tame and quiet as possible. Eagerly, she changed into a cute swimsuit she'd been able to purchase, thinking out the springs. And Nyx, to be fair. This morning, she'd left expecting such a different outcome. Another dangerous mission, another terrible war perhaps. Something alien and challenging. It had consumed so much of her life in Eos, that she couldn't wake up a day without the pressures of her role pressing down upon her. And yet they were here, now. Free to do what they wished.
So what did she truly wish?
The answer didn't come right away, her thoughts still nebulous and unformed. She wrapped a towel around herself and walked out to the springs, audibly sighing with appreciation as the saw the calm pools, heat rising off in shifting mists. Humming a little to herself, she walked to the edge of the nearest pool, her eyes scanning for Nyx as she unwrapped the towel to set it nearby. Footsteps behind her suggested he was coming out now, so she turned to smile at him.
"It looks amazing, doesn't it?" And as her eyes traveled over him sans the black clothing she was so used to, she felt a small bit of heat in her own face. She glanced back to the springs but her smile widened a little. Well, Glaives certainly had to be fit to serve the king, didn't they?
