“Everyone’s version of- whatever moving forward is different.” Which she thought was bothering her the most, to be told that she - wasn’t living to other’s standards here, perhaps she was ..experiencing a patch right now, with processing Luke, and Obi-Wan’s departure. But she wasn’t shut off.
“Ugh.” Leia looked at him with some level of disgust, feigned because she was getting hit by the alcohol and didn’t feel like being mad, plus he hadn’t actually said anything offensive.. “Did you really just tell me to smile more? You’re lucky I don’t throw this at you.” She said swirling her drink. No, he didn’t tell her to smile, he said she might find a little more happiness; and now she’d amused herself a little, because she could - but she was quite sure she’d made it clear enough it’d all been in jest.
“Now you-” Leia accepted with a nod. “If I remember any of this.” She did look slightly concerned about that fact, but still took another sip. As he asked about the ‘pause’, Leia really didn’t stumble for a second, her expression a scowl of sorts - but not exactly the deadly stare he’d have been sent, had she not just had a fair few drinks - he’d responded by accepting it was none of his business - which she seemed satisfied on.
Another eyeroll as Leia drained her glass to the toast; but Nyx was endearing at this point, and perhaps it was the perfect combination of steadily vanishing inhibitions and the fact he was an easy person to talk to; annoyingly genuine. The kind of genuine you couldn’t actually be annoyed by, even if you wanted to be.
“Just, please don't go talking about this to the next person you share the good Tequila with, alright?" Leia jabbed with a finger, serious enough about it. He'd spilled what he knew about others, easily enough, but she didn't want this thought of in the same way. "I don’t even think it warrants talking about-” Leia mused, crossing her arms on the counter, and resting her head on them, thoughtfully. “Well, not with anyone other than Galen.” She revised, because she’d handled it terribly and he deserved to know a little more about it all and why she’d behaved as she did. Alright, there was still a measure of cringe, despite Tequila, opening up about any of this. “He- wants something more than friendship.” Intimate pause then? Like he’d asked. “I don’t.” Leia was certain about that much, she gave a sort of shrug because these problems tended to mean the end of a friendship, didn’t they?
