"It is always a nice thought when something like that happens, the sharing of cultures." He had always found it a rather charming part of humanity when they managed to come together for good rather than ill. It was only a shame that he didn't have something to give her in return. "I hope that tradition lives on long past this moment."
He laughed when she told him what she'd learned already of the customs of Earth. "Yes food does seem to be rather at the heart of many Earth customs." He agreed, and truth be told he appreciated that about them. Never one to turn down an excuse for a bit of celebration through food after all. "I think very often one needs a bit of an excuse for a party simply to make it through the day." Truthfully he'd felt rather the same from time to time, but then he'd popped round to one of his favorite restaurants for a small meal and his spirits were immediately lifted.

Which had been a fascinating thing to learn, that they could be from the same place and not. "England though, is where I've made my home for the last several decades." It was most comfortable there, his book shop was there, and most importantly Crowley had been there.
