WHO: Gamora (MCU) & Thor (MCU) WHAT: Being heroes and saving people, talking about siblings and things WHERE: Through the doors WHEN: Friyay RATING: Not terribly high. Some violence maybe depending on how much ass they kick
The idea of taking regular trips through the doors had been a good one for Thor. Well. Maybe it wasn't the safest idea. Going through the doors was always a risk. It brought with it the chance that one might not come back, or could face dangers they weren't prepared to endure or fight. Thor wasn't afraid of any of that and recklessness kind of came hand in hand with his personality. He was a little more cautious these days than he'd been a handful of years ago but given his current mental and emotional state being what it was he was kind of desperate to have a purpose and do good for others so if he had to be a little reckless then so be it.
Others in town had seemed to really jump on the idea of helping out in other worlds too, which gave Thor more feelings of validation that he was doing something right and that it was a good idea. They were all capable of helping others who needed it. Why shouldn't they if the need arose? Sometimes it was hard to find worlds on the other side of the doors that were in dire need of heroes, but when that happened he usually just explored and looked for resources to bring back and help the town. Today, he and the beautiful but deadly warrior Gamora were going to be exploring, looking for ways to help if they could.
"It would appear this world could use our assistance," he said. There seemed to be some sort of overlord trying to enslave a bunch of innocent people. Foot soldiers were all lining them up, probably to force them into some form of enslavement or something. The soldiers looked like they were from a different planet, so it was probably some sort of take-over situation. "We should fight them, create a diversion, then perhaps you can taken out their leader." Much as Thor liked to have the finishing blow in any situation, he thought he was better suited for keeping up the scene of distraction with a good lightning show and she was stealthy enough to take out the higher up generals and ultimately the person in charge of this invasion.
