Kitty snorted as John started nearly ripping his dress off showing what foundation wear he had on beneath it, "Well I don't wear stuff like that, first of all." She told him simply, they'd get John something that fit better and wasn't quite so restricting soon, but first she wanted to get him scanned. "You're not dying second of all." She promised him, "Just take slow breaths, and we'll get you something more comfortable to wear soon."
Not expecting John to stop like that Kitty faltered a bit and then frowned when John said it couldn't be easy for her. "Well it's certainly not what I expected when we planned a trip through the doors today, no." She agreed, "But it's not like I'm the one that is suddenly in a new body." She added. It was no doubt much more difficult for John to be making this transition than it was for her to have to try and help him with it.
"Nearly there," She promised, hearing in John's tone that he didn't expect a great deal from the scan. Kitty at least hoped to make sure that John was still healthy. She didn't know what magic like this would do to him. Back in her former home Kitty pulled John to the medical labs and activated RALPH, "Ah, Ms Pryde." He greeted her upon being activated. "What new emergencies have you brought for me today? Another head wound perhaps?"
She really would have to have a word with Hank one of these days about the bedside manner of their holo doctor. "I'm fine today, RALPH, can you give us a scan of John for me?" She said nodding toward where John stood, looking more than a little worse for wear after the tumble he'd taken and ripping at his clothes, to say nothing at all of the change he'd under gone. "This is certainly new." RALPH remarked as he took in her companion, he didn't need to be told that a change had happened apparently, simply running with what he'd been given. "If you will please stand here." He indicated a clear spot near the examination table and waited for John to move before the scan began.
It took the computer a few minutes to run through all the data before RALPH could give them their results and Kitty couldn't help the nervous anticipation that coursed through her. "John is entirely healthy, Ms. Pryde." RALPH stated first, and she exhaled in relief. "Other than the obvious physical change that has taken place, it would seem that John has been transformed in every biological way." It worried her, this kind of magic. "You wouldn't happen to have anything in your databanks about how to fix something like this, do you?" Kitty asked hopefully.
And the doctor had the gall to snort at her, "There is nothing to fix, Ms Pryde. John is healthy and fully functioning. This is not a medical issue." And with that he was gone.
