It didn't really matter what Tony thought, because he'd saved lives, changed lives and given everyone back what they'd been missing. He hadn't even got to live to see it, but it had been wonderful, even Steve could see that with a broken heart.
Steve was a little more sarcastic than people might think, especially when he was comfortable and out of the public eye. Captain America was an act, it was a persona and Steve Rogers wasn't always the good Captain. With Tony he could just be himself without any pressure.
He looked down to watch Tony rub against him, a little smile on his face. "I'm yours, am I?" And Steve didn't seem to mind that idea, not even a little tiny bit. Steve tensed, causing the muscles to bunch under the skin in a way he knew that Tony liked.
