Loki did a terrible slash upon the internet. (lie_smith) wrote in snapthread,
Last resort sounded right, yes, but Loki frowned thoughtfully at the idea of always being someone who sacrificed. That wasn't him. Not in the world, really. Well. Not until rather recently. Sure, he'd died a few times for a good cause that he'd have preferred not to but --
Not without a contingency plan. Not without knowing he'd come back in some regard. It was something to think on. Perhaps Thor had faith in someone who he wasn't, and that wasn't a thought that Loki cared for even one bit, either.
He hummed a thoughtful sort of noise but then shrugged, apparently deciding that was enough for the moment, even if it wasn't. Maybe nothing ever would be -- not living it himself, there would always be questions. Loki picked up a box of ... something from one of the shelves and squinted at the writing on it. It was a snack food of some kind, was all he could figure. All-Speak, apparently, did not translate all languages, if they were not ones from his own universe. Vexing. "You're king then," he said after a beat.
