Sometimes little things were more challenging than big things --like here, in this place where they'd started off with nothing at all, it'd been kind of rough finding even the tools to build anything -- to fix a roof whatever it was that they'd been doing back then.
It was probably the same for the droid, in some ways. But Tony only smiled because, it was mostly just kinda cute. To see Nyx caring so much about his friend. Tony was a sucker for this kind of thing, he really was. He loved his 'bots like they were his kids, had built most of them from the ground up and he just... he just liked it, okay?
Nyx's concept of just rolling with the punches and doing his best was about as much as they could all hope for -- although Tony did prefer to try and plan a little more than all that. He'd be a terrible futurist if he didn't. But this place didn't make it particularly easy. It wasn't hard to see that Nyx was avoiding looking at the glow -- that was fair. It'd sort of appeared and Tony had dipped out of any spot light he'd been in for about a week or so in order to...well. Get over it, more or less. But it was there, and it was obvious. He didn't quite put his hand over it. "Me?" He asked, a little surprised though he didn't know why. "Yes. You know. Sometimes."
