Loki did a terrible slash upon the internet. (lie_smith) wrote in snapthread,
Even without a gift, Loki wouldn't have turned Tony away at the door -- but it was best not to let Tony himself know that because, well, who didn't like a gift?
So, he opened the door up a bit further and beckoned the Younger Stark in, taking the books as they went and going over the covers and titles. One of the more interesting things about living in a place that had dimensional doorways was that there were books and other media that Loki had never heard of before -- absolutely brand new things to absorb and that had to count as some kind of win in a place like this.
Well, there were other wins, some of them even more tangible than books, but that was mostly Loki's own business. "You're a gentleman and a scholar," Loki said, reading the back of of the books even as he ushered them into his living room. Well, his and Thor's, technically. Mostly Loki's. "To what do I owe this visit?" But Tony was grinning, so it was probably nothing bad. Maybe even just a social call.
