Siri listened intently, absorbing everything as Luke spoke. Ben, Tatooine, Padme's death...each part painted a picture that she hadn't truly wanted to see. As she had said to others, seeing the future was always tricky. Knowing these terrible things was infinitely worse.
"Order 66." Siri exhaled heavily, leaning back slightly to cross her arms. Her brow furrowed as she fell silent a moment. Finally, she said, "Obi-Wan told me some. Just...enough. How blind we all were. That Palpatine used us, destroyed us, in one fell swoop to ruin everything the Order ever was." She closed her eyes, just a moment, reopened them. "I want to say, oh we were arrogant or we were foolish, but the fact is that we as Jedi were not. Perhaps the Order as a whole was too...." Vehemently, she shook her head. "I can't say we were too big. Who should we have turned away? What force-users should we have denied? We didn't choose them, they were born that way. We were....are individual. There were so many Jedi that I considered family as well as friends." Siri refocused on him. "I suppose that answers the question of my knowing."
