Bill was everything Klaus had needed in that moment, in so many moments it turned out - in ways that Klaus hadn't really known that he needed until Bill had been right there showing him the need that he'd seen and taken upon himself to fill. He was so much of what Klaus needed it was very nearly overwhelming and it left him holding on to Bill even as he got to his feet.

He huffed softly, fingers going to the back of Bill's neck as he leaned over him, the both of them wrung out after everything. "Just in case you'd forgotten." He said with a small smirk, still catching his breath as he held Bill close.

It was a new feeling for Klaus, this sort of buoyed sensation that came after his little display of magic and then Bill pulling him to pieces after. Maybe something like excitement, an eager anticipation for what came next. Not immediately perhaps, he wanted to hang on to this moment a little longer before they moved on, bask in the warm press of Bill and the easy relaxation that coursed through his veins. But there would be more of this all too soon.

"You planning on rewarding me like that every time I manage to do a bit of magic?" He teased with a small smirk that he pressed against Bill's temple.
