Bill was a pretty good judge of character. There was what you could see and then there was what was underneath all that and if you were quiet and you listened and took a little time, you got to see it. That's what he'd found with Klaus. Maybe he was a little flaky, a little troubled. But he was sweet and he wanted what everyone wanted; to belong.
"I'm sure," Bill said softly against his ear. He stayed still, there was no rush, it would happen in its own time and he stayed with him, just breathing. For a beat there was nothing and then Bill watched as the cup in front of them moved as Klaus sent it jumping forward.
He grinned, wide and bright as he wrapped both his arms around Klaus' waist and spun him around. "Bloody brilliant!" Bill proclaimed. Not just because he was right, okay partly because he was right, but because it was a special moment for any young wizard. Especially one who'd never known he was one!
"I knew it!" Bill said happily as he set him back down on his feet.
