Bill's faith in him was it's own kind of magic really. Ben believed in him - he'd always said Klaus could do better, even when Klaus had refused to believe it himself. But Bill was... well he wasn't family the way Ben was. He didn't owe him any kind of faith and yet here he was doing just that. Reassuring Klaus when things had felt too heavy to carry and promising that he could do this.
He couldn't help but grin as Bill nuzzled against him just a bit, it was warm and comforting and made him relax a bit more about the idea that this was something he could get some kind of handle on.
Allowing Bill to move his hand a bit, showing him how to hold his wrist as he tried to channel some of what he felt through the wand, not pushing or forcing it just letting it happen. He felt... not dizzy, that was the wrong word, but he felt like he was chasing after a high and yet not that either.
"If you're sure." He breathed when Bill let him go, a hand on his waist now rather than his wrist and he tried to think about all the times he'd seen Bill do magic, little things, like turning on the lights or moving things here and there, all with just a wave of his wand and so that was what was in his head as he gave the wand a wave, slow and tentative, worried about what the wand might do in his hand, but he could feel that there was something there even without Bill's hand on his and he thought maybe that meant it must be true - there must be some kind of magic in him and he thought maybe this was something he could do.
The rattling of a cup as he slowly began to sort of tentatively scoot it's way across the counter was proof enough.
