Poor Ben was blindsided. This was not what he'd expected when he had accepted drinks with the young warrior (well, he figured she was young). And he was at a loss of how to reply to her when she started talking of passion, staring at his mouth.

Unfortunately for Ben, Carol was turning a blind eye to the whole thing, even if she was smirking to herself. And then, Val's lips were on his and he froze. It had been a long time for him. A very, very, very long time. And he just melted into it after a moment, giving into the kiss, his grip on his glass loosening a little bit until they broke away.

And he was left slowly breathing, and extremely flushed.
