Leia Organa // Galen Marek
Simply put, Galen didn't need her to like it, just accept it - because it was happening one way or the other. Starkiller was able to protect and do what needed to be done. Well he had hoped. It wasn't like he protected very often, or at all. He was about the destruction. That was where his life landed so often. Killing droves of stormtroopers and sabotaging Imperial facilities.
The blast was unexpected in the sense, he didn't know where it was happening. Mostly just it was coming. Knowing his covering was not the gentlest on Leia, he did have eyes of concern. Before allowing them to move on though, he made sure he was able to look at her shoulder. "This can be a permanent injury if we don't get you taken care of." Galen muttered.
When she tried to move, Starkiller stopped her. "I got first." He told her. "I'm fine, I don't need to be seen." He commented as he put her behind him, which allowed the blood to be seen from the debris he took to his back. "We'll get you to safety." He glanced back some, nodded, and then he moved forward. Other than a few patrols, and having to dispatch the enemies quickly, it was a decent travel towards the door out. They were even able to stop a t his bag he had discarded previously. "We're almost there, Leia."
