"Right?" John pointed right at his shades. "I can not do hero things not looking incredibly cool." Which was partially true, but really, John just really liked his new sunglasses and didn't want to lose them. "Rightio boss, lets roll."
John rushed behind her as they went down the steps. "That's very true. I'll plan our next vacation better." His sarcasm wasn't really directed at her, but more at the ridiculous situation. "Anyway. I don't think I want to ever wear that suit again." Not as it was at least. It was, to many dredged up bad memories.
While they burst out to the streets, the everything was incredibly worse on ground level. Looking around at the fires, they did well to give him all the ammunition he needed to take things out. While Kitty went off to do her thing, John watched her go, immediately worried. How could people survive this feeling when all he was, was worried for Kitty. Then his attention was taken from that as a ray gun beam went right past him. Looking over, at the alien who was equally surprised he had missed, John incinerated it immediately. Kay. Flying things. John gathered up all the flames in a good area of him pulling it all above him, and turned it into a giant hawk like shape sending it puncturing right through a ship.
"Who's next." John muttered directing the fire to wrap around and engulf the next ship.
