Re: Valkyrie | Not so Old Ben
There was a pause and a soft sound, possibly of appreciation, as Ben pulled his weapon free and lit it up.
Valkyrie kept up with the man and his glowing, what was that? She could only guess it was a weapon, and some part of her really wanted to give it a try, no matter how touchy it was. At the moment all she really knew was that it glowed; who didn't want a weapon that glowed? She was not counting the times that moving in complete darkness was a better idea to have the advantage.
Now and then they had to see to people's safety, and somewhere along the way she had pried a sturdy handle rail free. It would be cumbersome, but it would cause damage. She really did miss her sword at moments like these. Next door she went through she was taking it; didn't matter where they ended up.
"No, Earth has yet to develop anything like this. They are...shitting ducks?" That didn't sound like the proper wording. "Can I jump from here?" This time she did smile. She swung the rail around, getting the weight of it, and took a few steps back. With a deep breath she ran and jumped. She could clear a good bit of the distance on her own if he was watching carefully, which he probably was.
