Steve / Tony
"Oh ho ho, really?" Steve said with a laugh and a little splash which was to the side so it didn't actually splash him but it was the thought that counted.
It almost didn't feel real. To come from makeshift beds, in a town that hadn't had electricity to be laying poolside with a bottle of something Steve was pretty sure cost more than the apartment he'd lived in growing up. But whatever strange reality it was, there they were. "Well earned, you've been working hard." Because that was Tony, always working away at something and the reactor in his chest hadn't exactly been a nice gift to receive.
"It's been a minute since we stayed in a hotel," and the last time they'd stayed together and had dinner, but they hadn't been a we, not then.
